The Alcoa Police Department reported the accident happened about 4:50 p. Thursday when Donald McElhaney, of Maryville, attempted to move a 1997 Honda Passport to the auction area. McElhaney said that the gas pedal stuck, causing it to hit a 1982 Chevrolet S-10 pickup and two bystanders.
