The painting was one of many items up for bid in a silent auction Sunday at Craig Allen’s on East 13th Street. Proceeds from the auction went to help the homeless through the Union Rescue Mission. Parker Tatro, who helped organize the event along with Ashton Schrag and Hannah Yowell, said art for the auction had been donated by family and friends. Putting the event together on their own, the trio are proof that a bit of love can come from anyone. Schrag, Tatro and Yowell are sophomores in high school.
