The 120-acre property just off Route 30 west of Gettysburg includes a nine-hole golf course tennis courts pools and a relatively new clubhouse. Susquehanna Bank had foreclosed on the property and wanted a minimum bid of $2. 9 million at the Adams County Courthouse on Friday but no one bid on the 60-year-old club. The bank has agreed to pay the costs of the sheriff sale and municipal liens owed to the Cumberland Township Municipal Authority as well as money owed to the Gettysburg Municipal Authority.
