If all else fails with Guerin there’s always E-bay. Posted bynyifancentral |March 2 2009 13:24Considering the Garden owns the telecast rights we may not see if until trade deadline 2010 so Msg President Michael Bair can tell us how low Islander ratings are. Maybe you can get a video of Sather telling us John Tortorella just does not know Avery yet and then replay Sather’s comments after his arbitration hearing and have a similar auction for the Garden of schemes foundation? Did the Islanders get their 50 percent yet for winning the Metro Ice challenge last year even though they won the season series but the Garden made up a rule to cheat them out of the full prize and even kept webcasted preseason games off the internet for days or a pregame show for months. A live Cablevision link to the first Avery meeting Tortorella with John Giannone and Al Trautwig at his side would sure ring up page hits too. Throw in some Avery comments about his former Ranger friends and what they said about him. Maybe the Rangers could sponsor it like the powerplay and make a little money for that Garden renovation which will be must see TV when Dolan and Bloomberg get in a room and he needs approval from the Mayor after costing NYC the lympics with Shelly Silver’s relatives on the Dolan payroll and getting special treatment at Ranger games. h well there’s always those shots of an empty Msg for Bathgate-Howell or some parting Renney comments about Drury and Gomez leadership that cost him his job.
