A stockpile of previously unreleased video and audio recordings and love letters Madonna sent to an ex-boyfriend are set to hit the market — and provide insight into the Material Girl’s romantic side. The personal artifacts which can be bid on in the online Rock & Roll Pop Art Auction include two microcassette tapes of answering machine messages Madonna left her long-ago ex-boyfriend James Albright a former security guard at defunct Manhattan nightclub Limelight who later became Madonna’s bodyguard and 21 love letters she faxed Albright from various hotels around the world. The seller’s identity is unknown.

The roundup which goes back over a century has been run since 1925 by the Volunteer Fire Department as a way of raising money to provide fire protection to the community. The wild ponies believed to be descendants of horses from a Spanish galleon that wrecked off Assateague Island in the 17th Century or descendants of horses owned by colonial settlers who allowed them to graze on the island. The event was made famous by the children’s novel “Misty of Chincoteague” written by Marguerite Henry in 1947 and made into a movie in 1960. Assateague Island is a barrier island divided between Maryland and Virginia.
Phone number for Tutone’s ‘Jenny’ up for auction

The number from the Tommy Tutone hit song “Jenny” — 867-5309 with the Philadelphia area code 267 — is being auctioned off on eBay. Many so-called “Jenny” numbers were taken out of service in the early 80s after the 1982 song prompted a national wave of phony phone calls to the number in various area codes. The eBay seller is listed as a Jason Kaplan from Southampton Pa. After two days bidding for this one was up to about $700. The auction ends August 4.
Auction set for Courthouse Commons

Bankruptcy Court Judge Paul G. Hyman ordered the Courthouse Commons office building in West Palm Beach to be auctioned off to qualified bidders next month. The judge set the auction of the 99395-square-foot Class A office building for Aug. in Bankruptcy Court in West Palm Beach. If a successful bidder is found a hearing before the judge would immediately follow in order to approve the sale.
